Toni Kroos, midfielder for the German national team Announced his intention to hang up his boots after Euro 2024 and Real Madrid will be the last club of his career.
Kroos, 34, is out of contract with Real Madrid on June 30 and will not be extended. After previously there had been various speculations about UFABET the future of the German national team midfielder.
“As I have always said, Real Madrid will be my last club,” Kroos wrote on Instagram.
“I am happy and proud that in my opinion I made the decision at the right time. And I can choose my own path. My ambition is to finish my career at the highest level.”
For Kroos, he moved from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid in 2014 and played more than 460 games in all competitions. This season has already succeeded in winning the La Liga championship. In an open letter to Madrid’s fans, Kroos wrote: “As I have always said, Real Madrid is and will be my last club.
“After 10 years, at the end of the season this chapter comes to an end. I will never forget this successful time! I would like to thank everyone that welcomed me with an open heart and trusted me.
“But especially I would like to thank you, dear Madridistas, for your affection and your love from the first day until the last one.
“At the same time this decision means that my career as an active footballer will end this summer. After the Euro championship.”
Kroos also issued a rallying cry as Madrid target a record-extending 15th European crown, adding: “I am happy and proud that in my mind I found the right timing for my decision and that I could choose it myself.
